Solo cyclist, "Ride the Rockies," Denver, Colorado. "Ride the Rockies" is an annual cycling tour that has taken place since 1986. Each multi-day tour lasts about one week and covers approximately 40-100 miles per day. Canon A2E, Fujichrome, 1994.

U.S. Capitol, Washington, D.C. The weight of the cast iron dome is approximately 4,455 tons. The 19.5 foot, bronze Statue of Freedom on top of the dome was designed by Thomas Crawford; the statue weighs 15,000 pounds. Canon A2E, Fujichrome, 1996.
